Jee-Ji-Joe

This is Trent as "Jee-Ji-Joe", That would be GI Joe to the rest of us.
This is what me and my friend Micha saw when we looked out the craft room the other day. We're not sure if he was protecting us or hunting us, but whatever it was, we HAD to capture it on film.
I think this is the Cutest Soldier I've seen in a LONG time!!!

Big Hair, Braces and a ZIT!!!

First I had some Big Farrah Hair! (Check older posts) Now I have braces on my teeth! I am going to go through the trial of Metal Mouth for the next 2 years with Dylan. My teeth are straight but my bite is off, so here I go, to fix the problem.
It hasn't been too bad so far. I will say that the soreness is a weird feeling though, kind of like my gums itch or I have a head cold. Nothing bad, just annoying. Tylenol does the trick. The worst part is eating. Things get stuck REALLY easy in them! I only have my top ones on right now too, I can only imagine what it will be like when the bottom ones are put on.
So here I am, "railroad tracks" and all!
AND to top it off, I got a ZIT that morning too.
What?!? Am I 16 again?

Left Overs

Michelle & I hosted a Scrap Retreat at the Tenaya Lodge last weekend. In order to Feed these 30 people, we served crock pots full of Chili and Carrot Chowder in our suite. It was YUMMY! But What do you do with the leftovers? The little fridge was NOT big enough, and we really didn't want to take them home the next day so we FLUSHED THEM DOWN THE TOILET!
Yup! I dumped half a crock pot of chili into the toilet and then thought "Oh Crap" (no pun intended) "I hope it doesn't overflow!!!"
It didn't! Thank goodness! But there was a lovely coat of a grease rainbow on top of the water the next morning! EEWWW!

I bet you're wondering how we washed the dishes too. No? Well, we are problem solvers in this family so our two crock pots took a Lovely Jaccuzi Bath! Problem solved!!!

Braces Are Coming

Dylan is going to get Braces. We had to get some X Rays and photos taken, so like a good Scrappin' Mom, I went in and snapped a photo!

Trent had to get in on the action too!

Scary Woodland Creature

So one of the reasons I haven't posted in awhile is I went to CHA (The Craft & Hobby Association Conference and Show) with Michelle and Ashli. This is where we find all the cool stuff to put in our Scrapbooking Packs for our Business Designs & Such.

For some reason some of the designers out there think they need to put woodland creatures on paper and make embellishments out of them. I'm not sure why, but a Big Dear Head in the middle of a page is NOT my idea of CUTE! In fact there were quite a few scary things at the show. Here are some examples!

Slogger

Hey, I know it's been a couple of weeks or more since I posted anything on my blog, so I am now a "SLOGGER" That would be Slacker and Blogger put together. LOL

Wanna know what a "Slogger" looks like? Apparently I'm not the FIRST one to come up with this word.

This is what Wikipedia said the Definition of a "slogger" is

1) In the sport of cricket, a slogger refers to a batsman who plays with an attacking mindset with the intention of scoring runs on almost, if not every, delivery.
Sloggers are known for their big hitting and high strike rates, however they sometimes lack the technique of higher-class batsmen and therefore often go out for low scores through their excessive attacking.

Ha Ha

I guess I'm just gonna have to come up with a Better word for my Laziness!
